Sick Little Fish!

Ok here goes:
Mature Rio 300-3 parrott cichlids, 2 blockheads, 1 ACF, 1 starlight ancistrus and 1 choc zebrea pleco and the 5 other dwarf cichlids.
Water stats are fine,
Ph 6.5 (never alters)
Nitrates around 20.
The fish i have was sold to me as a laetecara (sp?) curviceps but im sure its a hybrid.
He has been hangin around the filter intake for a day but today i found him lying in a plant. His fins are all tatty (not fin rot tatty but nibbled tatty).
He has darkened to almost a black colour and is not eating. I can only describe his appearance as scabby.
I have put him in a breeding net as i dont have a QT tank set up.
A krib of mine died after 2 days with similar symptoms..
What can i do?

Bacterial infection, signs of a bacterial infection are, resting on things, darkening in colour, finrot, laboured breathing towards the end, you will need a bacterial med.

I was hoping you would be about Wilder! I thought as much about the bacterial infection just needed confirmation really. I'll get myself down to the LFS tomorrow...unless i can get to Pets@Home tonight. Thanks.

I would try and get it tonight, as the fish dosn't sound to good, good luck, fingers crossed.
