Sick Krib?

Just got in from work and find one of my 3 kribs laying in a plant breathing rapidly and all the colour gone? I have 3 kenyi cichlids and 4 yellow labs in there which are all fine. 0 nitrate and ammonia, 180 litre tank. Any ideas what's up with it??

Well the guy from the shop said 1 male n 2 female I can't tell the difference.

If the Kribs are a mixed sex group, one will become the third wheel they pick on. The bullied fish will typically show submissive gestures by hanging in a  top corner of the tank, which sometimes resolves things, but it is far safer to separate them.
 
However, you have mixed a West African cichlid species with Lake Malawi cichlids. If this is not the issue now, it more than likely will be at some point, the Rift Valley cichlids will "make mincemeat" of the Kribs that are not in the same league of general aggression.

Agree. However the OP says he can't tell the difference between his Kribs which is slightly concerning as there are obvious differences between male and female Kribs, so it might even suggest he has 3 of the same sex....

If that's the case, take them back and get a pair. As any responsible LFS staff should know and only really sell you a pair, not a trio, have a look around to try and get an idea of what they look like.
