Randy, my beautiful orange guppy has been behaving very oddly over the last few days, and I'm really worried about him . He has been staying right at the top of the tank, his fins appear to be all droopy, and he's not eating. Also, his poo (sorry - is there a better word for fish poo?) is a strange color, a sort of beigey pink.
All the other fish, including all the guppies, appearto be fine. I have just chanced the top filter layer, and done a 30% water change. There are 3 airstones, so I don't think lack of oxygen is the problem.
Please, can anyone give me any advice?

Have you been feeding any pink foods.
Does the fish look swollen in the tummy area.
Darkened in colour or gone pale, and are the fins clamped.
Stats would be good in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

No pink foods, other than the pink flakes in the tub of food.
Doesn't look swollen. I'm not sure what clamped fims means, he is able to move them ok.
His color hasn't changed recently.
He is swimming a bit "wobbly", but seems to have perked up now I've turned lights off for the night.
Unsure of stats at present, but all other fish are ok.

Without stats going to be hard to say.
It will be the pink flakes that making him poo pink.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Not a good sign i'm afraid when the stop eating.

OK, thanks. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed...

I'll get another testing kit tommorrow

Test your water then we can go from there.
Good luck.
