my next door neighbour has 2 snake skin gouramis that she has had for 3 years. 1 of them she says is pale and he cant swim to the top, he just sinks, i will admit he looks pale. i havnt seen him sink because she has taken him out of the tank and put him in a mixing bowl in the kitchen, i told he leave him be and observe it for a day but she is an older woman n older people are alwayyyyys right lol. can any1 help me to help her. i was thinking it could maybe swim bladder, i know nothing of it except that fish swim funky, i have never had any of my kids have it b4.

The fish is pale through stress of having swim bladder by the sounds of it, is it bloated and can it maintain it's balance in the water, try some shelled peas and daphnia to make sure it isn't constipation first.
