Sick Goldfish! I Know Its Not Tropical

My Goldfish is dying, the nitrite levels have been high, but actually went down in the last few days
It has been just floating around acting like it is going to die! My algae eater keeps attacking it and sucking on it. I feel horrible! It is a 20 gal tank with a penguin filter and it is only the goldfish and algae eater. yes i know they tend to not like algae and suck on the goldfish.
HELP!!!!

Sadly the nitrite levels might of already done there damage, can the fish maintain it's balance in the water, is the fish bloated, are scales beginning to stick out, and what do you feed the fish.
Can you post water stats in ammona,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.

Your algea eater is still in there with that water. Please do a water change before you loss him to. If you do not want him do a water change and take him to a LFS in the morning.
