One of my coldwaters (i know, slightly off the beaten track here!) went down with finrot after about two weeks, it is now quarantined with medication but it is not eating, what could i do to make her start eating again?

Some frozen or live food should get it eating; there aren't many fish that can resist bloodworm; or you can try mealworms from your local angling supplier.

thanks, will try this when i get home

You can also try soaking his food in garlic. But blood worms would be more appetizing.

garlic, i suppose that would scare off any vampire parasites. What does garlic do anyway (apart from making the water smell foul)?
