Sick Featherfin Catfish

My catfish (Shadow) is breathing but lays on the bottom. Stopped swimming. Sometimes floats to his side. His/her back looks like its turned white with black spots. I'm afraid it's dying. I've had Shadow for 6 yrs and always maintained ph, clean tank, good temp and have never had any problems. Please help if there's amything I can try to help it. thanks!
