Last weekend my tank had an ammonia spike so I carried out several small water changes and eventually the ammonia was gone = hooray!! The discus were still dark in colour and appeared to be displaying symptoms of ich. I removed the carbon from the filter and commenced treatment with Protozin on Sunday.

The tank was treated with Protozin and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday it is due for it's final dose today. Throughout the week the discus have picked up and have seemed a lot happier. However today they have gone dark in colour and appear really lethargic again. I have tested the water parameters and the results are:

Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - Trace-5
pH - 6.8

The pH has risen slightly although I'm not sure why. Everytime a water change is carried out RO water with added minerals is used. I can't carry out another water change as the fish are in the middle of treatment, has anyone any idea what's wrong or what I can do?

When a fish goes dark in colour it can be an indication of a bacteria infection.

Your water stats are good, so it can't be that, interpet do an anti internal bacteria med, good luck.

What is your tank temperature?

Do your fish eat the food, or spit it back out?
Have you seen them poop? Is it white and stringy or normal solid dark color?

the PH is ok from 6.0 to 7.0

dont worry,, and discus can be good on PH 7.5 (without EGGS)
