Sick Danio Pls Help

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
Unstable flicking swimming erratically sometimes pointing upwards sometimes downwards looks like it is having a seizure literally shaking and twitching started from no symptons to this since turning on lights and feeding at about 11 am
Volume and Frequency of water changes:
50% weekly more often if needed
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
just carbon
Tank inhabitants:
2 otos 1 hypan (like a tiny sailfin plec) cant remember name 2 rainbow fish 7 Danios all fine but this one and 4 cherry barbs
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):
2 otos 1 mini sailfin not its real name
Exposure to chemicals:
none that i know of tank has lid 190l juwel trigon with juwel internal filter and aqua pro 4 external filter

sorry no photos but has literally this has just started in the last 2 hours

Sounds like he dying bless him.
Any other fish showing the same symtoms.
Are any other fish flicking and rubbing and darting around the tank.
Anything lodged in his mouth. Is his mouth open.
Check body for exces slime.
Check gills for looking pale with excess slime, or red and inflamed.

No just Him but ithink i have just noticed some fungus on my rainbow fishes lips i think i might weep this is just going from bad to worse

Sounds like columnaris if the rainbow fish has white fluffy lips.
Does the danio look skinny or bloated.

well I cant find the danio now so am guessing the poor guy has died and is lodged in the plants somewhere But he looked totally healthy as far as i could tell bright ate well this morning or at least i think he did as there is seven of them can be a bit hard to tell which is which sometimes lol. But as for the rainbows they don't have like really white fluffy lips the lips just look off whitish and i noticed on sort of fluffy strand just hanging off one of the lips i have tried to take photos but they don't show it

You need to find him as if he died he needs removing from the tank.
How old was the danio?

Not very old the tank has only recently had the fish added in the last month tank was fully cycled but this was done fish in didn't Know any better but only with 4 danios one of which jumped out the tank about a week ago and was promptly munched by cat BAD KITTY LOL so he could of been one of the poor buggers who cycled the tank but i cant be sure as i added another 4 shortly after the tank cycled.

But anyway found him had to destroy the tank to do it tho don't think the other fish were impressed at all lol but strangely enough seems perfectly healthy not bloated or skinny the only thing i saw was a small bit of redness on the base of one of his fins however i think this is a post Death injury as it is on the side of him which was stuck to the filter grate other than that perfectly healthy other than being dead of course!

With Regards to the rainbows should i get a hospital tank set up or should i treat whole tank also whats the best meds to use as i think that columnaris seems to fit the bill

It could of been an injury. Red fins can be septicemia.

I would treat the whole tanks with losing the danio aswell. Myxazin by waterlife and pimafix for columnaris in the uk.

I Have got the pimafix but the last time i used that myxazin stuff it turned everything in the tank green is it supposed to do that it was awful ?

i have just bought this interpet one as well a antifungus and finrot it lists the flexbacter on that is this going to be ok with my plants and bio filtration or will it mess with it ?

Ok this is getting serious now just found my little Hypancistrus dead as well and another Danio is now swimming like it has had its spine twisted all water tests are ok what can i do apart from watch my fish all drop dead pls help

Yes myxazin can send the water abit green.
Just increase aeration.

Bent spine can mean old age, injury, fish tb, internal parasites, vitamin deficiency.
