Hello, my cory seems to be sick. He keeps rubbing/flicking against objects like he has some type of parasite, but i dont see anything on him. I'm pretty sure hes not eating either, and he looks a little weak and tired. Could this be an internal infection?

Any help please? I really want to save him.

Oh, it kinda looks like white stringy stuff coming off the fins too. Is it columnaris? The stringy stuff is only noticeable if you go up very close to him and look. Like when hes against the glass, and you look really close, then you can see it.

No, sorry i cant. For 2 reasons. My photo skills are horrible, so its gonna be hard to focus on what im saying since you have to really get close to see it. And because my computer is messed up.

So any help with the info i gave? My water conditions are of a cycled tank, with nitrates at 20 ppm.

And my setup is in my profile, (the 29 gallon)

Can anyone help me out soon? I would like to konw what it has so i can treat it tomorrow. I think its columnaris, and i would treat it with maracyn, but im not sure.

If it helps, I posted on here yesterday about a sick cory (thinking it is columnaris in my case) and I was told to use maracyn. Unfortunately I can't get any where I live so I am hoping Melafix might help as that is all I have. You can read the whole post on page 2 under, funny enough, "Sick cory". Hope that helps.

Yea, ive delt with comunaris before though, and successfully treated it, but im not sure if this is columnaris or not cuz its in like a different form. This time, its like white and stringy stuff coming off of its fins, but very small. There are no patches or anything on the body. I konw maracyn treats a wide range of diseases, so if no one helps me before i go to bed tonight, then i might just go ahead and treat it with maracyn.
