My two clown loaches arent looking too good.

They are lying at the bottom of the tank occassionally falling over on one side. They arent moving around much and their skin is looking quite blotchy - flat clear spots all over the body.

Nitrite is 0, Nitrate is 15, Ammonia is 0, PH is 8.0, Temp is fine.

The rest of the tank; the glass cats are behaving strangely and the blue rams have lost some of their colour down the body.

When you say blotchy what colour.
The spots are they clear little bubbles as thats a sign that whitespots about to break out.

They are clear flat bubbles but they are larger than what I know about whitespot - maybe 3mm or so in size.

I had a raised ammonia level a few days ago - did a 30% water change which has done the trick. Dont know if that has any bearing.

I think you might be having a whitespot outbreak, clown soon come down with it when stressed.
Are they flicking them selfs on things.

Just going to take a picture now.

They are definately rubbing themselves on anything they can find.

I have some whitespot treatment here so will take the Carbon filters out and treat now just to be safe.

Could this outbreak be related to my water change following a raised ammonia level?

Yes ammonia reading would do it.
And clear bubbles on fish can be a sign of a parasite and with the rubbing I would say yes whitespot.

Heres the picture. Its not the greatest but you can see the blotchiness on the body.

Hard to make out to be honest.
But with them being off colour, flicking, and bubbles on them, does sound like a parasite.

I have treated with Sera Baktopur which covers a range of bacteria infections.

I have some Sera Protazol for external parasites here - can i give them this as well to cover all my bases?

To be honest I wouldn't mix both meds in the main tank, maybe in isolation.

Well to be honest it not easy but I would of gone with the parasite med.

Leave it for now, I would do a water change and add some black carbon.
Fish can flick with bacterial infections as well as parasites, but clown are very prone to whitespot.
All I have ever seen when there not been well is whitespot, and wasting desease which is internal parasites.

RIP Clown Loaches this morning.

Blue Rams now lying at the bottom of the tank.

R.I.P.
The blotches on the clown could of been ammonia burns they are scaless fish.
What signs are the fish showing today.
