Sick Betta

Hi, My friend has a sick betta and I want to help her but I dont know anything about bettas, so before I treat her fish I would like some advice.

The fish appears to have columbnaris. I can see white fuzzy patches across its back.

I know about salt dip methods and antibiotics, and for me the antibiotics would be more convenient.

I want to treat with tetracycline, but I wonder if adding a bit of salt to the 2g tank would be a good idea too? If yes, what concentration of salt?

Any comments or advice?

For a 2gal i would say add a teaspoon, but the baths would be better.

Yes a bit of salt would be good. I'd post this in the Betta forum at this site. Lots of experience in those people there and you'll find much much good advice.
