My fish hate the pellets, but they end up eating them once they soften up. Apparently they can stand them a little better then. It's kinda funny, they grab it, chew it some, spit it out and grab it back up again. It has to be the only food you offer, or they wont eat it. You might try wetting the pellets with garlic juice to make them taste better to the fish.

I just bought that anti parasitic food and dosed today.... noticed the guppies hated it too... Had to mash it up a bit as the pellets are too big for their mouths... incidently can catfish eat the parasitic poop and be okay?

I started feeding my main tank the pellets as well...just as a precaution...and most of the fish hate them as well...like you said they eat em and then spit them out...except my rasboras...they take a pellet each and swim around with it slowly eating while in their mouth

I also smashed the pellets up and the fish were a little more receptive to them like that and when they sank to the bottom my cory cats and emerald cats and khuli loaches ate them as well

I've heard that the praziquantel is what tastes so bad to them. I don't know for sure what it is, but something is in the pellets that tastes bad. I would follow the dosing directions of the manufacturer since there are some fairly strong meds in it. I've been feeding my fish some food with garlic in it in hopes of some kind of long term homeopathic parasite prevention/treatment. I don't know if it will work, but they sure seem to like the food; no harm done I guess.

How do you put the garlic in the food

If you're referring to what I said, I bought food that already contains garlic. At least that's what the label says. I've been thinking of trying to make my own by soaking dry food/bloodworms with garlic juice from fresh garlic and seeing if the fish like it. Somebody sells a garlic extract for fish that costs a small fortune.
