I returned from work yesterday to find one of my khuli loaches sat out in the open on the substrate lying on its side! I could put my arm in the tank and scoop it up, when I did so it swam away normally for a second or two then rolled over again.
It appears to be at least twice as thick as the other 3 loaches, I am unsure of the sex of the loach . My water stats were as normal as they usually are. zero ammonia, zero nitrite, detectable nitrate, and I performed a 50% water change as soon as noticed it was sick?
I had a look in the tank this morning before work and could not see my sick loach so I don't know if it made it through the nite
but at least it wasn't floating on the surface.
Any ideas would be well appreciated!
