they could be, the face looks a little similar to me. and its possible that even if both the parents are the same color to get fry that jump all over color wise.

I think it's certainly possible, my sibling pair doesn't look like a perfect match, but pretty much all the males from those parents look the same and all the females look the same, so i think it's just the colors show up differently for the different sexes.

Well that's good to hear.

I thought the guy might have been trying to cheat me coz it took so long to get a pic of the female.

I would love to get them coz I think the male is absolutely beautiful, and I would like to use them for when I try my luck at breeding (don't worry, it won't be for a while yet...I'm still reading up on it all)
