Siamese Fighting Fish

Siamese fighting fish I have had a Siamese fighting fish but it died but now I want one with a little more well like this http/www.betta-fish.net/images/BettaFish.jpg but i don't know where to get one from

I think all of my lfs carry that type of betta. It should be fairly easy to find one. Or, you can try aquabid or try the sell forum here to see if someone local might be selling something. Good luck!

im tryin to breed some fighting fish at the min, been keeping fish sinse i was a kid and ive never seen one like that before apart from on the net

That fish is a crowntail betta. Your pet stores (fish breeder, and fish stores) should have at least a few males in stock. Some stores or breeders like to raise the price on the crowntails, but you should not pay any more than 6 or seven dollars if it comes from a pet store. (breeders will charge a lot more) And if you plan on breeding your male, you should look at the top of his tank in the pet store, and if there is a bubble nest there, he is able to breed. If not, you should look at different ones.
