Siamese Fighter Not Moving

My siamese fighter was laying on the bottom of tank for hours, I decided to put him in a small tank on his own but when i went to catch him he swam away like mad. Now hes on his own and lying at the bottom and looks like hes dead but as soon as i put my hand in he moved again. What could be wrong with him.

Stats would be good in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
Is the fish bloated and what does it look like when he goes to the toilet.
Is he laboured breathing.
Can he maintain his balance when he does swim up.

Had him just over a week, never seen him go toilet and he never seems to eat much, no noticible breathing problems. Swims fine when he moves.

Sounds bacterial to me.
I would try him on a bacterial med, not a good sign when there not eating.
Try some frozen peas on him.
Cook for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers and add to his tank.
