Siamese Algae Eater (Are They True?)

Ok i was wondering if somebody could help i purchased 2 Siamese Algae Eaters for my tank yesterday but i have heard that they can be mistaken for Flying fox of "fake" Siamese Algae Eaters i was just wondering if anybody could please confirm if they are Siamese Algae Eaters or not.

It looks like a Siamese to me, Atleast the ones that I have seen look like that.
 
Flying foxes tend to have black blotches on their undercarriage fins (and likewise with their dorsal) if I'm correct which leads me to believe that this is a Siamese Algae Eater.
 
 when i aquired one there were many differing views, there is lots if info suggesting the siamese flying fox and the siamese algae eater are the same fish, my own LFS  did  research using the latin name and also came to the same conclusion this is one such link http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/Fishindx/sae.htm there is also some info saying different
