Shy Angel

we have recently added 4 Angel's to our tank... But 1 of them is very shy, the other 3 freely swim about but 1 hides behind the plants near the filter, he only seems to come out and swim when no-one is in that part of the room, soon as there is movement he hides again.. He has no issues with feeding.. has anyone else had shy fish?

yes.. 3 times.

all died in two or tree days.

same. 2-3 shy angels, in comparison to the other Tankmates (angels)
all bought at different times, wouldn't eat from day one.
died within a week.
i rained frozen bloodworms, pee's etc, around their heads ,,, nothing.

He's probably just shy and still getting used to the tank OP. At least he's eating. Angels can go on hunger strikes to the death as the above poster says.

yeah hes greedy like the rest of them... comes out from behind the plant and grabs the food then goes back to the plant.. but hes getting there, seems to be hanging with the pleco atm and is out swimming more which is a good sign
