I was thinking of adding some shrimps? im a bit scared they'll get out of the gaps where the wire's get out? any suggestions to stop that and can u give any advice about them?

As long as the holes aren't large, you will be fine. I had 6 or so shrimp ins my 29 gallon for over 2 years until they eventually died of age. Never had an issue with them getting out. Just make sure your holes are small. A piece of duct tape on the plastic back strip can make holes smaller.

Get them, they're great In my experience they're not the escape artists people make them out to be, I even have a hanging silk plant that goes above the water level and right to a hole and have never had any problems.

I have amano shrimp which are larger and best for keeping the tank clean. Cherry shrimp (the other most popular) are very small and don't clean much and also if you have any larger fish are likely to be eaten!

They love algae wafers though and always steal my corys ones so get them some algae wafers once they're done making your tank clean.

They're fantastic at cleaning plants, ornaments etc. but never touch the glass.

Also keep them in shoals of around 6.

Good luck.
