I'm dosing currently 1x a week and want some cherry shrimp any idea if it's safe.... also how can I tell if I have enough oxygen in my tank? My plants pearl near the end of my light cycle..

N nry Fish Herder Joined Nov 16, 2006 Messages 1,523 Reaction score 0 Oct 23, 2007 #2 Shrimps - fertilising is fine. Oxygen - plants release oxygen even if you cannot see the pearling. Oxygen is also getting into the water via the filter moving the surface. If you are sensibly stocked and have a good maintenance routine then oxygen levels should be fine.
