Shrimp Tank

I am going to make an all shrimp tank.

I would like any advice about shrimp

what type of subtrate i should use,

and i want to go planted , so what plants would be good.

What size is the tank?

Under 10g I would go with Small Ghost Shrimp, Amano shrimp, Cherry and Crystal Shrimp. Any of that kind. 1/2"-1"

Over 10g I would go with bigger size like Bambo,Mountain or Rainbow Shrimp. 1 1/2"-2"

Not a must, but better sand. Fake or real Dwarf Hairgrass is good for shrimp.

Its a 29 gallon, i think img going to stick with the smaller shrimp, and tetras.

I have had tones of different kinds of shrimp in the last few years. My favorite are the Cherry Shrimps (make sure you get the real kind, lots of people say there Cherry and there not). I would highly suggest you place some plants, peat and some driftwood in your tank (if you already haven't). After I put these things in my tank my shrimp are pretty much maintenance free. Before that, they died all the time.
