Shrimp On Its Side Moving Legs Fast

Hi,

Ive had a few shrimp for some time and they all seem to be fine. Today i purchased a few more and intorduced them to the tank as normal. However since ive been out and come back one of the shrimps is now on its side moving its legs like a mad man and not stopping. I originally thought its obvisouly dying do placed in the net to see if it wiggled the right way up incase it was stuck. However it then it started darting about the tank and then went to a new spot. It has now started to wiggle about like a mad shrimp again.

Is the shrimp carrying some sort of parasite and is it doomed??

As the others are ok it sounds like it was something wrong with the shrimp rather than your water.



You should see them about more when they are settled in.
