Amano eggs hatch to a larval stage which need brackish water to survive; and they need to be fed on microscopic algae. When the larvae have fed and grown enough, they metamorphose into tiny shrimps which then need freshwater. If the shrimps you have are amanos, you won't see baby shrimps in a freshwater tank.

There are shrimps which are mislabelled as amanos by sellers and eggs of those species do hatch to tiny shrimps. I have cherry shrimps which have eggs which also hatch to tiny shrimps, and my nerites and bladder snails don't touch them.
