I currently have 6 amano shimp in a 160L community tank. I would like to add some cherry shimp. Is it okay to mix them ie the cherry being smaller and how many shimp can I have in a 160L tank. I've read that shrimp are not normally counted in stocking levels but they must add to the biomass of the tank? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes they'll be fine together, their addition on the bioload will be negligible.

What else is in the tank? You'll have to be careful that they won't get eaten.

cheers :good:

I've got 3 Amano shrimp with a breeding colony of Cherry Shrimp, will be fine :good:
