Tomorrow is the very first show of the season!!
*shakes all of you violently then runs around the room*

So here are some of my twelve girls who are going

Firstly, a four rayed MG girlie,who I love! Several of her sisters took Best of Show earlier in the season

A DT cambodian girl,who I also love.

A St cambo,whom I also love

One of my beautiful 4 ray orange girlies,whom,of course,I love!

And last but not least, a MG crownie, who, as you may of guessed,I love!

I won't even bore you guys with the rest or the males. Or maybe I will,maybe I will...

The last two are winners, for sure. The rest are beautiful, too - but the orangie has fabu body lines and finnage, and the last pic of the MG crownie girl - she's too lovely for her own good.

awww, I couldn't do the first few justice with the pics. They went all pale on me and wondered what I was doing "She doesn't ever take pics of US! She just likes boys!" But that MG is (Look at mommy getting defensive ) )

I have an even nicer crownie girl,her body is almost black and she has very nice BF edging

That orange is just though. I think I might send the mommy of my reds and metallics too. She's the hardest working fish in my fish room,she deserves an award!

Yeah, I've decided not to auction anybody at this show. This way when they go far away I can auction them then and show them twice

That DT cambo isn't as clean bodied as I thought she was. Maybe I'll switch her with someone else.

That sounds like a great plan!

Yeah, her dorsal looks like its just a tad too far back. Her caudal looks a bit short, too, but that might just be the photo.

Not that she isn't a total doll. But if you want to get that Novice of the Year award, best to send the absolute cream of the crop.


Edit: oops, I was talking about the cambodian ST. ) Don't see what the prob is with the DT, except the top lobes just a bit smaller then the bottom. She's got a stubby bod, but I thought that was par for the course with the DT's. What makes you think she's not show-worthy, just in the interest of broadening my knowledge...

The red speckles towards her caudal peduncle and also a tad on her face. That's just a very,very minor fault and like a two point reduction,so it might be ok. And that's a terrible pic of that ST,she was less than cooperative! She better be good when Jim Sonnier is eyeballing her!

I'm still going to go shop through the cambo girls again. I have four going for bi-color.

Ahah. I saw 'em, I just didn't even realize they were a fault. Makes sense , I guess - falls under the "all one color body, all one color fins" thing cambodians are supposed to ideally be. Never woulda thunk it, though.

Ah, Jim. I'd chew my arm off to spend a few days with that man. I'd chew off both for a chance to spend a weekend with both him and Gene. I'd love to have an endless amount of time to pick their brains....

mmkay, here's this one. She wasn't in the line up but do you think she's better? Most of my perfectly split caudal girls are going for a solid red color They're not quite there yet though,probably by the next show.

*keep in mind that her finnage is usually much darker. I just plopped her in the beanie and started snapping even though she went flush. Her rays are kind of not quite perfection though But that could just be the pic,'ll have to look again. It's so much easier for me to pick them apart in a still image rather than when they're all over the place and looking at me.

So many to choose from,I can't make a decision I have one girl who is just to die for,but she was only recently pulled from the grow out and she has the tiniest slit in her anal. Heal girlfriend,HEAL! And here I am with no silver

Tough call. Which is the bigger fault, the freckles or the caudal split? I'd be tempted to go for number one, her DT just looks SO much better. The other one has such a lovely body shape though...

Why not enter both?

A perfect split is no longer necessary from what I understand (Thankfully!) but it does knock off a few points I think, but it might not unless it's really,really screwed up. I can't enter both. I already have four girls,two DT's, for that class and I get the feeling they'll be competing with my CT's for Bi.

Here's the one who's going for sure. Her body is extremely clean,although her lobes are uneven.

Now everyone open your book of standards to page 34 I believe this one is minor to majorly faulted colorwise. But not "severe" But still..she could be a contender.
