or is it okay to rest it on-top of the glass cover over the tank? i was thinking about putting the legs back on my light but a 130light open in the tv room is kinda bright..i am wondering if im losing light, maybe getting reflected of the glass lid..most i think either have their lights suspended or on the legs.thanks.dan

anyone? basically should i remove the glass cover and use the legs for my light?...thanks

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but whatever you do, don't rest your lights directly onto glass, it will crack into hundreds of peices, as I found out, but it was my brothers fault. If you mean to have them above your glass gloves, but not on it, then you can do it, the glass cover probably won't make you lose any light, but it may magnify the light and make it more intense, but don't count on that, i'm no clever person by all means.
