Should I?

i want to rescue one of the bettas from there tiny prison and put it in my tank. but would it harrass my other fish? there so awsome!

If you are putting it in the tank in you sig then no you can't get one. There are only a few tank mates sutiable for bettas.

all of the below are incompatible with a betta.

4 x-ray tetras
2 buenos aries tetras
3 serpae tetras
2 two inch bala shark
1 pleco
2 zebra danios
1 paradise fish

(btw, congrats on the 55g! now lets work on getting your tetra schools up to size )

what plecos are not to be with Bettas hmmm I have 2 plecos both are in with my edithae now but my female bettas NORMALLY would live in that tank as well hmmmmm

d'oh! that'll teach me to copy/paste. good eye on that one, Himmel; i don't see how a plec wouldn't be betta-compatible either
