Should I Use Fertilizer?

I am going to plant my tank soon, so I was wondering if I should use fertilizer also...I will be planting easy to grow plants (but hopefully a lot of them). I need to know if the fertilizer will hurt my fish (Kuhli Loaches, cories), if it will discolor anything. What Fertilizer is best (that I can get at petsmart (Seachem Flourish???))? I will be using one Life-Glo 2 light on my 29 gallon tank. I will not add CO2.

I have decided to use fertilizer, unless there is a reason not to...

Anyway, I have a question: What Seachem Flourish should I get for my aquarium type Seachem Flourish Iron (with iron obviously) or Seachem Flourish Comprehensive (they both cost the same price)
