Should I Start Another Course Of Myxazin?

So I go on holiday for a week, in a week's time. So if I'm going to do a 5 day course, I need to start it soon. Here's how his tail looks today

You can just see the black curly edges and the 3 splits there are now. Have been treating with melafix but no apparent effect from that so far.
So what do you think I should do?

I cant see that it would do any harm and might actually do him some good and it's best to get him as good as possible before you go away
