i have a 29 g with a elite hush 35

a filter or a bubbler?

one more question....

if i just did a water change n the water is still a lil merky i waited another day n it still is kinda

is it safe to do another water change?

?? 11 replies? i only see your own reply. well, bubblers dont really do anything, so unless you like the looks of it, i would say another filter would be the better choice. im not sure if you would want another filter though, unless your current filter is too weak to handle it

i want another filter to help rid some of the cloudy water problems that are occuring

not really cloudy but rarely clear...

man i got a black background and a rtbs

whens its by the background u can see him but barely..

will another filter help eliminate this

a new filter ...i do weekly water changes..

maybe another filter will eliminate weekly water changes to maybe 3 week water changes

plus i have no test kits except for a ph test kit

so i wanna be on top of my filtration game...

well, water changes are for getting rid of the minerals and stuff like that out of the water because the filter cant. im not sure about the cloudy water, but it might be a bacteria bloom or something like that

id get your self somemore test kits, fr amonia, nitrite, and nitrate, aswell as maybe even kh and gh,

these will help you discover any problems that may occour in your tank should one of your fish become ill...
Try havng your lights on for less time each day, as they may be causing an alge bloom
