Do female swordtails show aggression toward each other like the males?
I have two large females and one slightly smaller male in a community tank. The black tetras no longer go after the original female, but she's shown a tattered pectoral fin (somewhat clamped) and i think her dorsal and caudal fins have a VERY slight amount of nip damage. The male and the other female "harass" her sometimes - it looks like they nip at her body (not fins) and she swims away.
What is the best course of action? (I do have a 5 gal tank that needs cleaning).
