I have treated the water now with meds, only removed the carbon. I have only had this fish for a few days, so might of been like this from day 1. The spec is still on the dorsal fin but I will keep an eye on him to make sure his okay.

Buy a small issolation tank for the shrimp. It won't cost much.

If the spots are the size of a grain of salt it whitespot.

I do have an isolation tank if needed but I don't know if I need use it now, just checked the neon and both spots have just vanished, he is swimming around okay and not distressed but does have a bit of fin rot, I have checked ammonia and nitrites both are at 0.... I have turned up my temps though and going to use the Myxazin treatment for a few days to be on the safe side.
