I had a betta in a halfmoon bowl that hung on my wall. I eventually felt kinda bad because he became lethargic and uninterested. I know bettas can "survive" in anything, but I just felt so bad for him I decided to put him in my 20g. Currently in my 20g is an Opaline Gourami, x2 Zebra Danio (though they're going back to my other tank soon) 3 Julli Cories, and a few ghost shrimp.
I want to stock the 20g with a few more gouramis and a large school of tetras, but I'm skeptical considering the nature of the betta. He is very docile, doesn't give the gourami any problems, despite them both being aggressive fish.
Petco has a 10g kit for sell for 37 dollars. I could always throw the betta in there, or should I work around the stocking for my 20? I really don't want another tank, but I don't know what to do with the betta!
