USA,
well, as you all probebly know from my posts, my fish are terribly inflicted with ich. They are getting worse.

The tetras are all covered, they gasp all the time, and not just at the surface either. Theyre fins are starting to shred as well.

The danios are doing bad as well, theyre mouths are deteriarating (sp). Only the topo part though. They are also gasping and just sitting on the surface. The lf blues fins are deteriarating as well.

Nothing is getting them better, and I do have some fish that are still okay, and dont want them to get sick like these fish.

What should I do?

also, if you voted yes, what is a human way of euthanizing?

Its sounds cruel but ive had a sick angel years ago, it was my best fish back then but it had a lot of problem, was getting old as well.

What i did was tap it out side and wrap it in news paper and hit it with a brick.
Its horrible but it had to be done.

Have you done you homework on the life cycle of Ich.

This disease is very contagious and pretty soon you'll be left with no fish at all if you don't take action.
Make sure you keep up the treatment for the correct level of time. Even when it looks to be clear from the fishes body there may be still some of the free swimming Protozoae in the water waiting to infect another host and so the process goes on.

Nooooo.I couldnt kill my fish unless they were defo goin to die anyway! If i was going o HAVE to do it then freezing is the least painful way

I had a couple sick fish a while ago, alot of people dont agree with this but...

When i have a fish that needs to euthanized, take out the tank put it on a flat surface and cut the head off. dont do it if ur really squemish

yes, i know about the ich, and have been treating them for two weeks, but no improvement, just getting worse.
Though there are some that have not gotten the ich yet.

and The pleco did loose it, but it is comming back.
