Yes you can get one but its a one male two female

If you get one it wouldn't feel lonely but they look amazing when in there 2 female one male group but if you can't handle the chasing then one would be good

Thanks, i think i'll go for one male opaline and one female opaline. :)

What size tank do you have?

Does depend on tank size and you should get 2 female

True. Either keep the male alone or get him a couple of ladies, no in between with Opalines.

To be honest I'd think a small group of females would do fine without a male. Too bad the males are the more striking looking fish with their long dorsal and anal fins. It's the same with Pearl Gouramis and of course, Dwarf.
