To breed bettas you will need:

5-10 gallon spawning tank
sponge or corner filter
live microworm and/or vinegar eel culutre
brine shrimp eggs
plants for spawn tank (for female to hide in)
peice of styrofoam, foam cup cut in half, or IAL for male to build nest under
submersible heater
accurate thermometer
at least 100 jars/containers (ideally they should be 1/2 gallon or larger, but 1/4 will work, too)
40-50 gallon grow out tank
nice pair of bettas with desirable genes
Chimney glass or other clear object to put female in
high protein frozen and/or live foods to condition your breeding pair
Lots of dechlorinator (you'll be doing lots of water changes :) )
turkey baster (helps when doing water changes on fry tank, so tiny bettas don't get sucked up)

That's all I can think of off of the top of my head. I'm sure there's more, though.

i personaly would think that you would never need 100 jars,You her people say that you can get 500 eggs fromone spawn,Thats highly unlikly i think.I think about 50 would be ok.Maybe a few more just in case. The average spawns probably is about 150 eggs.
