Well went down to the south west of England For a holiday on the first day we went to The National Marine Aquarium, which was well worht a day out there are some absolutely amazing tanks there. the three largest were a british coast one, full of british fish, A mediterannean one full of sharks and then a gorgeous marine one with a turtle, giant moray eels and too many fish to possibly count!! Really enjoyed oursleves and came back with a longing for a tank the size of my house!! We also visited Devon tropicals which is in Plymouth. Which was a very nice small shop with some real quality looking fish!! Next day we went to torquay saw all the sights and on the way out stopped in a shop called Aquatronics (!) which had more of that supermarket feel but all the fish were lovely and they had three specialised brackish water tanks which were very impressive. 
On the last day of our holiday it rained so my boyfriend convinced me to drive to Tri mar aquatics in cornwall. It didn't look much form the outside but once your inside the place is crammed full of tanks and every tank was full of unusual fish. Especially unusual kribs and dwarf cichlids and the rare livebearers. the difference with this shop is that they will deliver so we ordered a full grown Female Keyhole for my two boys Smokey and Bandit and a microglanis to go with the two we already have. Service was good and if you like messy shops where you have to guess what the fish is you'd love this! it was great fun!! Both fish arrived friday morning in beautiful condition and i will probably order fish from them in the future! Tri mar
Hope I didn't bore you but i find its nice to know whether a shop is worth visiting. We also found that dry goods were considerably cheaper, and the fish a better quality down south than in wales which I find quite strange!
