I noticed one of my julies was acting a little strange last week, as were the brichardi....hanging out around this one cave all of the time....so I went in to investigate....found babies! Thought to self...."*self* could these be more brichardi babies?" No possible way! There are WAY less than 4 thousand babies there and I only have 2 males in there
......but why are the brichardi still hanging out there and chasing other fish away
? Still I question this....however, it took me a few moments to realize that all of the babies were hanging out ~upside-down~ .......finally it clicked, these could only be julies....they are SUPER cute, VERY unexpected and growing quite quickly. I believe there are only 6-7 of them, don't know for sure, they REALLY like to hide, but I could only get a couple crappy pictures of 2 of them....hope you like them, I am pretty proud even though I hear julies are pretty easy to breed, just not usually in a community cichlid tank with brichardi, savoryi (who have also bred again
)and frontosa.
