Shoaling Fish

I am setting up a 100 gal tank( 60x18x20). I have never had a tank this large before. If I put more than one larger shoals (neons, glolights, silver dollars) will they stay seperate or will they converge into one another.

They should stay apart and hang out with their own kind, its userally when you have a couple of odd displaced fish that differant species will enter the shoal of another. (Btw, a good number for a shoal is 6 fish or more), GL
