I was cleaning the hospital tanks (my females had all started fighting so I put them all in one gallon containers untill the fins heal then they willl go in to 5 gallons each) anyways I put my purple female bacck and she decided the water was to clean so she waited 4 hours and released eggs into the water. then proceeded to eat the eggs all up. Thing is I am not conditioning her to breed or anything I got her to give to my mother in law as she has a blue male (named blue boy) and she wanted a red male to call pinky. So bought a pink female for her........... no they will not be kept together or even in site of each other
the male is in a old candle holder if you would believe it (holds 4 gall of water) and the female will go into a 3 gall container dont know what it used to be lol
