Hi,

Found shaving brush for sale at local fish shop today... never seen them before and don't know anything about them.

Are they worth having in a reef tank? are they easy to keep

Looked quite attractive..

From what I've read, you have to get a healthy one to begin with.. then they'll do fine unless something eats them. They're mostly for looks, not so much for nutrient export.

Agreed with above. They can be propogated by removing the small sprouts that appear at the base if I remember correctly.

I have them. They seem to die after you plant them, but new growth will appear if you leave them alone. Be very careful transplanting them....
