Sharks

Are there any freshwater sharks that...well...look like sharks... I dont like the looks of the bala and rainbow sharks, they dont look like sharks?? If you guys know of any i would much like to know. Thanks

The Columbian shark Catfish looks a lot more like a shark than the Bala or Rainbow...but as they get older they require brackish water all the way up to saltwater...oh and they also get upwards of 18" or more so you would need a very large tank by the time they're fully grown

irredescent shark kinda looks like a hammerhead i think.......thats just my opinion

mine looks more like a shovel nose i can see why you think hamerhead tho ... i still havent found anyone with a big enough tank for it

You could try a real shark. The bull shark can live in freshwater. Do you have a swimming pool handy

well, i do have a pond im my back yard... I just really like the looks of the saltwater sharks, but i dont want a saltwater tank....

I say the Red-Tail shark. They look like sharks. (Well, in my opinion) and they get around 6".

You must have a peaceful one,most black sharks are aggressive tyrants that easily dominate tanks containing more peaceful community fish,get to a hell of a size as well 18" or more.Also if not fed sufficiently they will over power other fish and strip off their slime coating as food.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW A JEESE JAMES (THE MOTORBIKE GUY). AT HIS BIKE SHOP HE HAS A LARGE TANK WITH TWO REAL SHARKS. DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND BUT THEY SOWED IT ON A SPECIAL ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL. jESSE jAMES IS THE GUY ON MOSTER GARAGE.

Iknow jese james, my cousin rides one of his custom jobs. monster garage is cool to. I have not seen the DSC show so could not identify the sharks
