A quick one: I have three 3-4cm multis for the first time. My mate who gave them to me said that there's definitely one male and two females. How do I know for sure?

The only difference I can tell so far is that the biggest one has a brown "background" with the darker brown spots, where as the other two are smaller and have a greyish background with the same colour spots.

Any help and other info on these little cuties would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

You will have to vent them or ask your mate how they new they were definatly 1m/2f.

On mature fish, you may be able to see a genital 'spike' on the male (around the anal opening) - there is not one on the female.
If you post some photos, then maybe someone can help further.
