Sexing Geophagus Winemilleri

Does anyone have any idea how to sex winemilleri. We think we have 1 male and 2 female just by the way they get on and theres a slight difference in shape. So would anyone have any idea by looking at the video.

They look so different to my 4..... mine have more uniform stripes and less of a pointy nose? Did yours always have the pointy nose or did that develop as they mature?

I find mine hard to sex but yours are easier I think your right with 1 male 2 females. The dorsal fin is what I am using on mine and your big male has massive trailers where as the females dont which is similar on mine I think I have 2 males 2 females but I could have 1 male 3 females or 3 males 1 females..... lol its really hard until you see them breed.

They have changed so much in this last month, the head shape has changed completely. Ive never seen fish grow as fast. The two possible females have divided the tank in two with the possible male going between the two of them. In the last week or so there seems to be a bit of flirting going on. So time will tell what happens. Thanks Wills sort of backed up what we had thought.

Interesting mine go through growth spurts we find sometimes that we just look at them and say they have grown I wonder what mine will end up like mine have more of a solid profile but I think mine are a bit younger than yours?

This was them last January Wills the day we got them. so they're not much more than a year old now. They were from Rapps via Oddball.

If i remember correctly we had asked you what age yours were when we first got ours and i think yours are 6/7 months older.
