Sexing Festivum Cichlid

i am going to breed festivum and i was wondering how u sex them?

When they are mature and laying eggs, the females have a short wide ovipositor (egg laying tube) and the males have a longer thinner ovipositor. Unfortunately they are difficult to sex when yound and even as adults, so most people that want to breed them, buy a group of 6-10 young fish and grow them up. As the fish mature and pair off, the individual prs are moved into their own tanks.
