Sexing Convicts?

Ok I know how to sex convicts, but whats the smallest size they can be accurately sexed? I have a dozen or so fry comming up (about 1 month old) and I want to keep 2-3 females and maybe a male, the rest will probably be feeders. Just wanted to seperate the keepers as early as possible.

I've heard that you will know the males by how fast they grow compared to females...I allowed my convicts to spawn only one time and all of the resulting fry turned out to be females...I can tell that because they all have colored bellies, grow very slowly, and don't have fins that extend past the tail fin. The fry are all about an inch long now and they are six months old.
