Sexing Angel Fish

Help people,

I have 3 angel fish and would like to know how to sex them? one of them is chasing the other about, not sure if he's after abit of loving or just having a fight

you cant really sex them until theyre ready to breed, then you see the tubes come out , cant remeber which one has the biger/wider tube

As stated above, you can't sex them. If it's any consolation, angelfish have problems sexing one another too, and there are plenty of stories of pairs of males and pairs of females trying to spawn.

All the stories about humped heads and rounded bellies are nonsense.

If you look close to the pelvic fins within a day or so of spawning, males will have a short, pointed, slightly angled genital papilla; females have a rounder, blunter, thicker genital papilla.
