The German Blue Ram is indeed a male. It has no black on its pelvic fins. Also it does not have a pink hue on its stomach.
Although the blue spangling on the big black spot throws me off, i am fairly positive that ur fish is a male. Beautiful fish!

I had a feeling it was a male, just wanted to check though.

Would love to get a female to go with it, i've tried twice but my luck has been pretty bad though.
They both randomly died on me - well 1 had internal parasites that i treated and it looked to of got better until one morning.

It's a male, the pointed anal fin is a sure give away.
