Where is the water current that these type of "hillstream loach" need, in the region of 8-20x the water volume turnover per hour?
What temperature have you got these Sewellia lineolata at?

i do have water current on the other side of the tank. i dont want too much current which might disturb my other fishes and the loaches seem fine. the temp is around 70 degrees

no, they are 100% freshwater

Dang Would love one of them for my tank only straight fresh water tank I have at the moment has cichlids so thats out of the question

Yay! I love hillstream loach types so so much! One of my fav fish. It's totally adorable when they're on the ground looking for food. We recently got a new one and he/she hasn't quite figured out that food drops to there yet. Thankfully there is enough algae in the tank to feed it though.

Are they expensive to buy?

they r around 7-8 dollars each where i brought them from. they r totally worth it
